Douglas Mackie’s deeply sophisticated Marylebone flat

Douglas Mackie sits at his Jansen writing table in the sitting room; he designed all the other tables in the room, as well as the rug, which was made in Morocco to his specification. The chimneypiece is surmounted by a work by Sandra Blow and flanked by a pair of twentieth-century, tortoiseshell chairs, bought from Michael Pruskin and covered in a custom-made silk by Toyine Sellers.
